Presentation:
Traditional flame retardant
extrusion PS thermal insulation material apply HBCD powder as flame
retardant additive, general dosage is **6%, but HBCD is fluid
between the screw and extruder barrel during the extrusion process
which will cause a good fire resistance at the age of the XPS board
but a poor effect in the middle and core; Also the flow and residue
of HBCD will corrode the mold and extruder barrel to decrease the
working life of machine; it always takes about **2 days to wash the
extruder after finished the flame retardant grade XPS.
HT****5D adopts compound flame
retardant additive and other functional auxiliary agents to produce
specialized flame retardant master batch for XPS, dosage is the
same as or lower than that HBCD powder, when add 4% HT****5D into
XPS can reach to GB********6 E grade(original B2 grade) and
UL**4V2, but cost is lower than that HBCD powder; As granule master
batch, HT****5D is very easy to be mixed with PS base material to
get consistent fire retardancy; A nice advantage is to overcome the
corrosion to the mould and extruder barrel, prolong machine’ s
working life, moreover, the time to wash extruder is greatly
shorten to **2 hours. Meanwhile, HT****5D won’t affect the
extrusion effect and color of the extrusion board due to its pure
color.
