Description
An
economizer in boiler is a kind of heat recovery equipment installed
in flue gas duct of boiler. In economizer the feed water is heated
into saturated water at drum pressure by absorption of lower
temperature heat from flue gas, as a result, the temperature of
flue gas emitted drops down, thus reducing dissipation of flue gas
emission, as a result, fuel consumption is decreased, and heat
efficiency is increased. In addition, the use of economizer tends
to prolong service life of steam drum. Furthermore economizer can
be used to substitute a part of evaporation heating surface whose
cost higher.
The
economizer is classified as bare tube one, spiral grooved tube one
and finned- tube economizer. The latter include H-shape finned-
tube economizer, helical fin tube economizer and circular fin tube
economizer. Among them the H-shape finned- tube economizer is one
which is mostly used. They have been used in boilers with capacity
**0MW and **0 MW generating units.
:The finned
tube economizer consists of finned tube bundles. Generally tube
O.D. ranges from *2mm to *1mm, tube material: casting, carbon
steel, and Cor-Ten, etc. An important process procedure is welding
of fins to tubes in production. For example, helical and circular
fins are welded to tubes with high frequency welding; H-shape fins
are welded to tubes with electric resistancewelding, etc.
