Alkali-resistant (AR) fiberglass, characterized by good alkali-resistance and high corrosion resistance in cement and other alkali medium, has been used to reinforce cement, gypsum and other inorganic materials. Fiberglass Reinforced Cement (GRC) is a new type of inorganic composite building material. As a light, high-strength, incombustible, designable and easily-shaped material, it has been widely used in building industry nowadays in the world.
 

GRC roving (AR-Roving) is used as the reinforcement for Concrete/Cement.
The fiber strength and bond characteristics are the most influential factors on the strength and toughness of GRC. Fiber deterioration in the cement alkali environment reduces the fiber strength and bond in GRC and the strength retention rate is a crucial factor to evaluate fiber properties.
There are two kinds of roving according to different ZrO2 content of *4.5% and *6.5%. As to usage, there are two types, one is premixed type and another is water-dispersed type.

Note: We can chop roving into strands with certain length such as 6mm, *2mm and *4mm.
