Crete, of superior quality, derived directly from the producers and
packed with certified processes, which guarantee the exceptional

Greek oil is renowned for its excellent organoleptic properties and
Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oils has a variety of aromas, tastes and
styles. In a good year, *5% of the Cretan harvest is classified as
Extra Virgin and the area has a deserved reputation for producing
oils of exceptional quality.
The most common variety used in oil production in Greece is the
Koroneiki olive. This variety grows particularly well in Crete and
the Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced in the mountains there, is
said to be amongst the best in the world. Most of Crete’s oil is
exported to other european countries for blending to upgrade their
final product.
Oils from our area have taken numerous awards in International
