Standards / Testing Specifications

 THHN/THWN*2 conforms to following standards:

     UL*3 for Thermoplastic Insulated Wires and Cables (THHN/THWN*2).

     UL**8 for Appliance Wiring Materials (AWM).

     UL***3 for Machine Tool Wire (MTW)   (stranded conductors only). 

Product features:

UL listed Stds. *3 & ***3 as: Type THHN Wire *0°C in dry locations, Type THWN Wire *5°C in wet locations. 

Gasoline and oil resistant II. Type MTW *0°C Machine Tool Wire (stranded only) **5°C AWM, *0°C where exposed to oil. 

Applications:
THHN Building Wire is general purpose wiring in accordance with the NEC. The building wire is rated at **0 volts for installation in conduit or other recognized raceway. THHN Wire may also be used for wiring of machine tools, appliances and control circuits.
