THE PINEAPPLE

Extra sweet pineapple with low acidity. The pineapples come from **0ha of rich volcanic soil, in the region of Santo Domingo de los Tsachilas, in Ecuador. The tropical climate is from *5ºC to *5ºC during all the year with worm rainfalls.

It takes *2 months for theses pineapples to grow and produce enough sugar to be harvested.
Each plant produces only one pineapple to guaranty always the best quality. (It’s important to know that most part of the producers let the plant producing 3 to 4 fruits. This technic creates low quality product because of genetic degenerations.).

Each pineapple is selected manually and controlled 3 times during the harvest to be sure that the size, the color and the quality are optimum to be exported.

One time harvested, the pineapple is disinfected, cleaned, protected with wax and goes into is box. There is no more than 1 hour between the harvest and the moment when the pineapple is in his box, on the pallet in the cold room. It guaranties the preservation of the entire flavor.

THE PACKAGING

The pineapple goes directly from the land into the pallet, after being selected, washing and protected.
Each pallet is certified for exportation and the boxes are protected to travel in the best conditions. 
The container is optimized by using different size pallets. It allows putting **6 more boxes in your container to increase your profits.

The packaging can be personalized for each client by using his own brand or own size of boxes. But it required a minimum of 4 exportation and/or containers. 

THE QUALITY CONTROL

We follow the strictest quality control procedures through all stages of the process. The fruit is inspected during all the process by a Swiss Comapny (COTECNA). Our ingeeners follow the process from the crop to the harvest. We guaranty the best products of Ecuador.
