FRP Mortar liner pipe, the method repairing the old pipe without trenches is to put one smaller diameter FRP Mortar liner pipe into the old pipe and fixed to repair it. This method has advantages as following: low requirement to old pip and certain corner is acceptable, low requirements to the clearance of inner surface; easy and fast construction、and construction with little water; The stiffness and strength of FRP Mortar liner pipe are very high, which can bear the load capacity of top of pipe independently, instead of collapse due to the old pipe’s structure; The inner surface is smooth, high conveying capacity, efficient and eco-friendly, corrosion resistance, long life service, low maintenance charge and construction cost.

Our company develops three types of FRP liner pipe joint: one is flat end spigot and socket joint with single sealing ring used for natural flow pip; another one is steel spigot and socket joint with F shape sealing ring and water swellable rubber joint; the third one is flat end spigot and socket joint with double sealing ring used for pressured pipes. Usually tolerance for pipe’s axis line for joint above is 0.*3 degree. Pressure test can be acceptable to test the sealing for flat end spigot and socket joint with double sealing ring of pressured pips. Usually length of FRP liner pipe is **6 meters, and the physical length should be decided by bending angle、inside condition、size of active well. Proper length of the single pipe and acceptable tolerance of bell and spigot can assure the liner pipe to adapt old pipe’s curvature radius and unevenness. Grouting manhole is reserved after inserting and proper grouting can reduce frictional resistance. Grouting after inserting, fixed the old pipe and new pipe together to avoid liner pipe’s floating and sliding. Reasonable inserting manhole can avoid uneven pressure of pipe’s chest or the problem of one side’s leakiness.

With the development of China urbanization, old pipe’s aging, good performance, convenient construction method, low construction cost and maintenance charge of FRP liner pipe will stand in the place of repairing pipes without trenches area and have big potential market development.
