The availability of a left magazine kit for the 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader. You can now purchase either a right or left magazine kit for use in the HP StorageWorks 1/8 G2 Tape Autoloader to bulk load the autoloader or use for offsite media storage.

  • Alternatives in movement and storage of data: For dedicated import/export of media cartridges, each autoloader includes one mail slot. The autoloader also includes two removable *-slot magazines for bulk loading of media, and provides a convenient bulk storage unit for moving media offsite.
  • Installation options: Reduce installation time with rack-ready units. The unit can also be used on a desktop by simply installing the enclosed rubber feet.
  • Flexible tape technology and interface choices: Choose from a range of one drive, eight slot LTO-based configurations to best suit your needs. The 1/8 G2 models include Ultrium **0, Ultrium **8 and Ultrium **2 tape drives.
  • Agility - easy to manage: Integrated web-based remote management capability allows a remote administrator to control, configure, monitor and troubleshoot the device, thus relieving the customer of costly onsite IT resources.
