Under condition of temperature *0 degrees and pH value 4.8, one enzyme activity unit (IU) defined as the total enzyme quantity we need to release 1μmol reducing sugar from 5mg/ml consistency of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose solution per minute, reducing sugar quantity equals glucose.

Jeans washed by cellulase will reduce breakage rate and defective rate when compared with stone wash.
