Fire Resistance and Ventilation Cap

Outline:

Fire resistance and ventilation caps are also called Fire ventilation hood.  They are important and necessary corollary equipments that ensure the air safety of depots, gas stations, and oil tanks. They have two type of attachment. And they are flange connection and threaded connection.

Features:

The material of its drift cap is refractory aluminum plates. The material of its casing is cast aluminum. The material of its fire retardant core can be either stainless steel corrugated plate or corrugate aluminum plates. And the products have reached the technical requirements of CB*********5. As soon as the fuel oil expands, the fire resistance and ventilation caps exhaust air

Through the corrugated plates of its fire retardant cores. They absorbs air from the oil tank and prevent any fire pass it when exhausting air, which ensures the safety of oil tanks.

Installation Notes:

Fire resistance and ventilation caps should be installed at the top of oil tanks vertically. Thus, the balance of internal and external pressure and the safety of oil tanks and gas stations are ensured.

Maintenance and Repair:

The operator should check the gas permeability of fire resistance corrugated board of the product, and ensure its good fire resistance and ventilation performance. When repairing it, the operator should undo the screws that are on the product, take the fire retardant core out, check whether the core is blocked/ twisted/ rusty or not, and clear/change the core. The check and repair should be done twice a month.
