PSC has been a major supplier to HP Compaq, IBM, ATI, Cisco Systems, Rockwell Automation, NCR, APC (American Power Conversion, SGI and other many well-known companies in the world.

Product’s Features

1. Impeller

The impellers of fans are the fruits of high-technology and advanced skill. The blades have been applied with our own integral structure patent in China, which ensures the necessary rigidity and accuracy. The center-plate of impellers fit aero-dynamic profile. All impellers have passed balance test according to our own standard, which is higher than national standard.

2. Bearing

All bearings in fans are manufactured by brand name companies of Japan. These ball race type shaft bearings are hermetically sealed, pre-greased and self-aligning. Under, normal duties, these bearings are service free.

3. Motor          

The motors inside are all newly external rotor motor with thermal protector inside and this insulation class of motor is F. We can also supply motors in other brand as client appointed.

4. Feature

As a standard, the motors are provided with thermal fuses protecting them against overload. All motors are adapted for rotational speed control. 

5. Application

PSC products are widely used telecommunication, ventilation as residential homes, offices, hotels, and swimming pool halls and shopping centers, warm air heaters and commercial refrigeration.

What exactly is ECAC technology?

When PSC Motor and Fandescribe their range of ECAC products, we use the acronym “ECAC,” to refer to an electric motor, fan, blower or impeller that is powered by Electronically Commutated Alternating Current.

This means that the power to the unit comes out of the available power socket; this is **5V AC in the US and **0V AC in Europe and Asia.

Each PSC ECACMotor is equipped with sophisticated on-board Voltage Conversion Circuitry that converts the **5V AC or **0VAC power input to *0V DC power, and it is this current that actually powers the Motor.

As the motor itself is now actually powered by DC input, we can now incorporate the standard DC Motor functionality that would not be available with a standard AC powered unit.

This functionality includes the following features:

l The biggest benefit is PWM Speed Control or Analog Speed Control. This allows the User to vary the RPM of the motor to whatever speed is needed by his system; with a standard AC motor, it has to run at maximum speed at all times.

l A Tachometer Out Signalis provided, so that the User can monitor the performance of the motor. This signal usually provides 3 Pulses per Revolution.

l An Alarm Signalcan also be available which tells the User if the Motor has stopped for some other reason.

The major advantage of ECAC technology, as compared to a straight AC-powered electric motor, is the Power Savings.

As an example, a standard **5mm AC Impeller may consume **0 Watts in power, whereas an equivalent **5mm ECACImpeller may consume only **8 Watts in power, thereby using *2 per cent as much power as the AC unit.  

ECAC powered electric motors, and by extension the full range of ECAC air moving devices manufactured by PSC Motor and Fan, will see on average a drop in power consumption of at least *0 per cent over an equivalent conventional AC powered unit.
