The round bowl is skillfully hammered by a masterly Mexican artisan. In the photograph you may notice a delicate pattern of a tiny scale obtained by precise forging with a hammer. The flourish design was obtained thanks to unique technique of silver plating. The sink is silver (real silver) plated with Michoacan art design.
