Copper Oxide(Cupric Oxide )
Properties: Black to brown to black amorphous powder or crystal, granule (monoclinic crystals). Insoluble in water, soluble in acid, ammonia, ammonium chloride, dissolved in sodium hydroxide to produce a blue solution, at high temperatures leads to hydrogen or carbon monoxide can be reduced to metallic copper.
Application: Mainly used for electroplating of electricity plate and the production of stainer for glass, ceramic and porcelain. Also, for the production of fireworks, dyes catalysts, lacquer based desulfurizing agent and other nantokites.
