Description

· Aerial earth wire for BS **3, ASTM IEC **8 1 x 7, 1 x *9 and 1 x *7
· As overhead ground (or static) wire for protection against lighting
· 1 x 7 construction strand with grade A galvanization and with group one tensile strength is mostly used for this application
· Strand is installed at the top of steel tower and functions as a ground (earth) wire to protect the aluminum conductor with steel reinforced (ACSR) from lightening
· With its normal lifespan of *0 to *0 years, thick galvanized layer better than or equivalent to that of galvanized strand for ACSR is recommended
