The design and Components of Wet Mix Macadam Plant:

COLD AGGREGATES BIN FEEDERS:
The bins are designed & welded with M.S Structure chassis and M.S. Plate hopper Body. The
Auxiliary conveyors with AC / DC variable speed feeders under each bin drive supplied with
adjustable calibrated gate openings and together offers total proportional control, and accuracy of
operations.
Well-designed gathering conveyor transports the material with a uniform speed to the slinger
conveyor. Permitting easy addition of bins to meet growing needs.

SLINGER CONVEYOR:
Transfers the screened aggregates from the feeder bins to the Pug Mill. Multi ply rubber belting
running over idler rollers fixed in stand bolted to robust frame constructed from structural steel.
Drive system consisting of TEFC motor and shaft mounted gear box. Uniformly placed idler &
return rollers support the belt without any sagging.

PUG MILL MIXING UNIT:
American Model - AEW make Pug Mill unit comes with double gear box and
double motor. The twin shaft pug mill design provides fast & continuous mixing of
aggregates and additives.
Double gear box design provides productions without any breakdowns. "AEW" pug mill
arm & tips are of heavy duty design to achieve homogeneous mix. As a result of this
minimal wear & tear occurs, which in turn leads to Economical Operational Cost of the
plant.

WATER TANK & PUMP
The water tank has surge capacity, a self-priming pump, control valve and water flow meter for
accurate metering.

LOADOUT CONVEYOR:
Driver system consisting of TEFC motor and shaft Mounted gear box. Uniformly placed idler &
return rollers support the belt without any sagging. Gob hopper fitted at the discharge end of the
conveyor is with hydraulically operated gates as per set timers to delivers the material mix in
lump & avoiding segregation. Power pack unit is provided for operating the gates of the gob
hopper.

STORAGE SILO
Storage silos are available in different capacities as per the customer requirement. It is easy to
install and operate.

CONTROL PANEL:
PLC Module software based fully automatic computerized controls with latest AC Drive
technology for both Automatic and manual mode of operation. It is equipped with the emergency
stops, on/off buttons, Selector switches, rider, volt meters, and Totalizer on the front desk with
ease access to operator in logical manner.
