Chevron Conveyor Belt 

Chevron Cleated Conveyor Belt is used to convey materials at angles that are too steep for smooth surface belts.

The profile on these cleated belts make increased angles of inclination possible, preventing conveyed material from falling backwards on the conveyor.
 
Depending on material requirements, smooth surface belts have a maximum conveying angle of inclination of approximately *8º. When steeper angles of inclination are required, cleated belts make this possible and, depending on material, angles of *0º to *0º may be achieved.
 
Fabric Carcass

The carcass consists of multiple plies of synthetic fabric made from polyester warp yarns and nylon weft yarns. This combination allows the belt to be impervious to moisture and to have low elongation. The carcass skims are manufactured with premium rubber in order to maximize impact resistance.
 
Types:

Close V, Open V, Open Y, or as per customer's requirement.
 
 
Profiles

CHEVRON conveyor belt have rubber profiles that are integrally vulcanized with the top cover of the belt. These profiles are composed of a highly abrasion resistant and elastic rubber compound.
 
 
 
Typical Applications

Indications for the slope angle:
 

• Up to *0º for slightly rolling materials, such as coal or gravel
• Up to *0º for sticky materials, such as bauxite or wet sand
• *5º up to *5º for packages, bags or bales
