Description

Manganese ore can be divided into manganese oxide and manganese carbonate. Both of manganese ore shall be upgraded by different methods. At this moment, the most common beneficiation methods are gravity separation and intensity magnetic separation while floatation separation will be involved for manganese carbonate of fine inlay. 
The magnetic conductivity is low while its specific gravity is big, so intensity magnetic spearation and gravity separation can be used to upgrade the manganese. Gravity separation is mainly involved for manganese ore of coarse and uneven inlay with manganese jig separator and shaking table involved. manganese ore mixed with barite is usually upgraded by intensity magnetic separator to gain ideal beneficiation efficiency. 
The common equipment involved for manganese oxide upgrading covers coarse granules jig separator, trapezoidal jig concentrator, shaking table, intensity magnetic separator, rod mill, vibrating screen etc. 

The specific gravity of carbonate is small similar to that of its intergrowth gangue, so gravity separation can nmot work well. Floatation separation and intensity magnetic separation can be the way to get high grade manganese carbonate concentrate.
