Our philosophy is environmentally friendly and self-sustaining salmon farming in harmony with nature. The entire operation is driven primarily by GREEN ENERGY, reducing the Carbon Footprint on the environment. Core values are to respect nature and leave no unwanted residue. ARCTIC SALMON is farmed with renewable energy sources, at low density, below *0kg per m3, in probably the purest ocean water in the world. The fish has freedom to swim naturally in this swiftly rushing cold fresh water, emulating nature as closely as possible. The diet, ECO feed, contains exclusively fish meal and fish oil from sustainable sources in the North-Atlantic.No additives or treatments such as antibiotics, chemicals, or delousing methods are used.

Our generation farming model ensures the natural cleaning of the sites and at least *2 months of rest for each site thus preventing negative influences on the environment.

Our smolt swims in free-flowing fresh water, drawn from our own well adjacent to the hatchery after being filtered through lava fields for centuries. Because the water is not being

constantly re-circulated, we do not use any chemical methods to clean it. This, in turn, creates healthier, more resistant stock, with a very low mortality percentage. This process replicates nature as closely as possible.

Naturally warm geothermal water allows us to keep the smolt in the hatchery longer and release them at a **0g plus size into the sea cages. That instead of the traditional *0g to **0g smolt significantly reduces the growth time at sea, reduces the burden on the seabed and is entirely in keeping with one of our main principals – to treat nature with utmost respect.
