*7AMI+PTC series thermal protector, which being sensitive to temperature & current, is a derivative product of

 

*7AMI series. With a PTC device, the unit won’t reset unless power off.    Having some characteristic such as

 

 compact structure, miniature size, sensitive in action, large contact capacity, long life, etc., the unit act as

 

protector for overheat and overflow in a wide application: vacuum cleaner, lawn mower, electric tools,

 

disintegrator, blender, etc.

 

 Working Principle   

 

Building in a PTC heating element,*7AMI series thermal

 

protector turn into *7AMI+PTC series. Forming parallel circuit between PTC heating element and thermal

 

protector contacts, the PTC heating element will carry current and heated while the contacts cut off. It makes

 

the internal temperature of the thermal protector won't fall and make contacts keep disconnect state. When

 

thepower off, there is no longer a current through PTC heating element, the internal temperature of the

 

thermalprotector will fall, and *7AMI+PTC series will reset, circuit closed in *0 to *0 seconds. Therefore, *7AMI

 

+ PTCseries thermal protector has a delay of protection, more with reliable safety.
