thermal shock. Most of the negative effects of these conditions
occur at the seals. Conventional seals simply can not meet these
criteria. In conjunction with leading automotive manufacturers,
Metal Textiles has developed knitted wire mesh designs that exceed

Sintered and unsintered metal fiber non-wovens on basis of an
AISI *7^ alloy. Thanks to well balanced combinations of fiber
weight, fiber diameter and porosity, those filter media can achieve
mass efficiencies in between *0% up to *0%. Because of the
availability of cleaner engines (pre-EURO VI), a lower mass
efficiency (<*0%) filter can do the job.Â
