INSTALLATION Remove the diffuser from the body by easing the plastic screws Release gear tray by easing plastic clips away from the metal tray and lifting the metal tray away from the base. ISOLATE THE A.C .SUPPLY and connect unit .An unswithed **0v a.c. supply must be connected to the live (L).Earth (E)and neutral (N) terminals Fitted to the PCB of all variants .On Maintained variants continuous illumination is provided by the whit elink ready connected, this can be replaced by a simple switch for on/off control . Fix base to wall or ceiling either direct or via conduit box having cleared an access hole in the body for the cable Remove the red color T-shape plastic stick. Refit the gear tray into the base making sure the two plastic clips capture it correctly Refit diffuser and press each of the4 lugs to ensure the are fully located . Check operation- restore the A.C .Supply  checkthe dindicator LED  is on Leave for *0 minutes,remove power ,the lamp should illuminate for a few seconds . Restore the A.C. Supply and check that the indicator LED is on

NON-MAINTAINED
Lamp normally off and battery on automatic charge(LED\'on\')Whenthe A.C Supply is healthy.Solid state circuitry automatically switches the lamp on when the AC.Supply  is interrupted.
 
MAITAINED
Emmergency lamp normally on ,when the supply to switched live is on. The battery is on automatic charge (LEDon)Lamp will switch on or remain on if A.C.supply is interrupted .
 
MONITORING
Red indicator lamp(LED)normally continuously on . indicator lamp goes out if A.C. supply or charger fails.
