Florestal Alimentos SA, a producer of Confectionery like Flat Pops, Jelly Candies, Hard Candies, Soft Candies, Chewing Gum and Sugar Free Candies. Florestal Alimentos S.A. came into  existence in ***6 in the city of Lajeado, Rio Grande do Sul State, with a  handmade production of hard candy.  A general  improvement placed the company in a fresh stage by following an actual  industrial model based on high investments in technology and human  resources, constant product launchings, opening of new markets as well  as a new market friendly policy. A new phase established itself with the  introduction of the Total Quality Management (TQM) in ***5 which led  the company to achieve the implementation of important certificates such  as ISO***2 later followed by ISO ***1 and ISO ****1. The company then  took over the leadership of the Brazilian lollipop market, gathering  several corporate prizes throughout the decade.
