perlite in textiles

Description

Thanks to its steady chemical structure, perlite is a material which does not chemically react and dissolve in water. Due to its this property, perlite can be used with various chemical substances without affecting them and also contributes with its physical properties (Perlite only dissolves in concentrated hydrochloric acid). In this scope, perlite is used as filling material, chemical substance bearer, filtration auxiliary material, insulation material, etc.

Perlite has the following advantages in laundering process of textile when compared with other similar products;

• It does not react with other liquid or powder chemicals used together and does not change its properties.
• It is a water-insoluble material.
• It does not show acidic or basilic properties becuase it is a neutral materila.
• It is a sterilized material and not harmful to the health. It does not give smell to the environment.
• Perlite does not corrode the product it is applied to.
• It does not congest the machine.
• Since it is a light material, it is easy to use.
