Solar Energy

The sun is the major source of energy on Earth, the radiation that warms the earth creates an atmosphere, this radiation is responsible for the energy of winds, ocean currents, water flow, etc. To take advantage of solar energy is not necessary to live in a tropical climate; its enough to have sunlight to obtain energy.

Solar energy is an alternative energy and since other conventional energies are about to disappear, and their prices are steadily rising, the use of solar energy is an absolute success.

Photovoltaic energy is obtained by the direct conversion of sunlight into electricity, and IT is produced by devices called photovoltaic panels.

Photovoltaic solar panels are made up of cells that convert light into electricity. These cells take advantage of the photovoltaic effect, whereby the energy of the sunlight produces positive and negative charges on two different types of semi ducts to generate an electric field that is capable, in turn, of generating power.

The costs for photovoltaic technology are falling rapidly, a fact that will allow it to play an important role within the global energy sector.
