We use the best salepi varieties, as well as selected aromatic herbs and sugar in order to create a drink without preservatives, ready for you to enjoy it.
Our Salepi is a Greek product and is distributed in a package consisting of *0 bags portions of ready to drink beverage. You can find it in big super market chains and healthy food stores. 
 
Salepi properties
Salepi is an orchid of which bulb the drink that bears the name is produced. This orchid grows and is cultivated/ nourished in the high mountains of the Balkans and the Middle East.
Salepi is a traditionally caloric drink that releives the sore throat and eases the stomach pain. It fights asthma symptoms and may be used as a before sleep because it contains neither caffeine nor theine.
Salepi is also attributed aphrodisiac qualities, this is why in ancient times it was called "Satyrion" (from the ancient greek word Satyros).
 
Salepi with saffron
Salepi combined with the special flavor of saffron and its properties as an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and thrombolytic, contributes to the good health of the body. It soothes aching kidneys and helps digestion.
Saffron is rich in lycopene, zeaxanthin, carotene A, B and C, B complex vitamins and essential oils.
 
Salepi with Chios mastiha and green cardamom
Salepi combined with Chios mastiha and the green cardamom contributes significantly to the treatment of peptic ulcers, aid digestion and relieves indigestion. Many studies have shown mastiha as great herb with antioxidant and antimicrobial activity.
 
Preperation
You just add a bag portion of SALEPI OLYMPOS into boiling water and you enoy it.
For a more intense flavour you may boil the drink with water, just like the greek coffee. You may also boil it with milk. For an even more intense scent you may enrich it with flavourings, such as more cinnamon, nutmeg or Chios Mastiha in either powder or ginger. After the drink is ready, you may add orange scrap.

Recipe. Healthy jelly!
Boil 3 or more salepi bags portions and put it in a bowl. Add fruits pieces and if you wish dry nuts. You leave it for a while in the fridge and you have a healthy jelly.
