Description
DDC*8 electronic auto-compensation instrument (resistivity
meter) is a new model instrument. It is developed by our factory on
the basis of many years experience in productive resistivity meter
and by reference of the advanced technology oversea. The
instruments transmission and reception are combined in the same
case. It can be applicable for various resistivity prospecting
methods and displayed the measuring parameters directly, such as
apparent resistivity (denoted Rs), the amperage and voltage.
It is widely used in geologic prospecting like hydrogeology,
engineering, environmental protection, searching for groundwater to
solve the water problem for men and animals, and prospecting using
the method of high-resolution resistivity. It is also used for
metal and non-metal mineral, energy sources, geothermal, railway
and bridge survey and detecting the incipient faults of dam
foundations.

Small volume and lightweight: the emitting part and reception
are combined in the same case.
Using CMOS IC, smaller size and lower power consumption.
Multistage filtering, signal-enhance technique and digital
filtering are capable of  anti-interference and highly
measurement accuracy.
The instrument can automatically compensate for
self-potential, drift, and electrode potential.
Automatic multiple protections for over-voltage and
over-current are suitable for all kinds of field operation.
Setting of power-on time (***9s) is adjustable free. When
working, there are 9 kinds of common working methods to
choose.
Data protection against power failure. The results of the
measurement are up to **0 points in the instrument itself.
Connecting with other computer through a RS***2C I/O
interface.
With the fault diagnosis program, the common fault source can
be real-time displayed.
With totally enclosed frame, it has the advantage of the
dust-proof, waterproof and long service life.
