Description

CMC is used in mining industry as Ore pelletization binder and floating selective depressants. CMC products are used for binding iron ore pellets and ensuring high green strength of the pellets during the pelletization process . CMC is adjusting agent in floating selection process, it is used as selective depressants, preventing unwanted gangue minerals from floating,thus improving the concentrate grade, resulting in reduced smelting operation energy costs. In addition it can provide an effective dispersant function for gangue slimes.

CMC can be used instead of Bentonite in Iron ore Pelletizing. CMC products offer multi-functional advantages: Low dosage and no caustic soda addition make its usage an economic alternative to Bentonite and others organic binders.
