The LS*5 *2X Digital Auto Level *****9 is the industry leader in automatic digital leveling technology. With innovative labor-saving features such as auto-focus, a built-in overview camera, and a digital compass, not to mention an electronic bubble and an external DC power cord, the LS*5 takes everything to the next level. It takes the tedium out of high-precision surveying.

Set-up is practically carefree, but fast and accurate. The electronic bubble level gets you started, then one push of a button tells the automated systems to go. Just point at your target, and this digital level will perform tilt checks before each measurement. Then the integrated auto-focus picks out your target and provides high-accuracy height measurements by enhancing contrast with the staff. Focus is usually accomplished in 4 seconds or less. Working range for auto-focus range is 5.9\' (1.8 m) to infinity.

Get rid of transcription errors with this ingenious new feature. Keep a snapshot of all your measurements so you can cross-check whenever you need to. With a focus of 9.8\' (3 m) to infinity, a field of view of 6° x 4.8° (7.7° diagonal) and up to *0 frames per second, you can keep an accurate record of your entire workday.

A built-in digital compass with a 3 gon (2.7°) accuracy keeps you oriented at all times. The magnetically damped compensator gives you precision fine-tuning, even when you\'re working in a high-vibration area, such as near a busy highway. There is a **0° horizontal circle for angle measurement. The exchangeable Li-ion battery has a **-hour battery life and can keep up with those long hours. The LS*5 also has an external DC power option to make your life easier when you\'re back in civilization.

The interface is accessible and easy to learn. Manipulating information is effortless and straightforward with the large high-resolution touchscreen (3.6, **0 x **0 pixels) and **-key keyboard, which includes 4 function keys and a navigation pad. The LS*0 comes with onboard leveling application software and works with Leica Infinity Survey Software for complex 3D data processing. With Bluetooth, USB, and RS**2 connectivity, this digital level makes is simple to upload data prepared at the office. The LS*5 has a measurement range of 5.9\' - **0\' (1.8 m - **0 m). You have a choice of 2 for height accuracy per km double-run: 0.3 mm or 0.2 mm (with a standard invar staff). With a regular staff, the height accuracy is 1.0 mm. Distance accuracy is 9/*6 at *8\' (*5 mm at *0 m).
