Ceramic fiber board is a lightweight refractory product suitable for many insulating applications. The board is manufactured from high purity ceramic fiber mixed with inorganic and a small amount of organic binders by a vacuum forming process. It can keep excellent mechanical strength after heating and also can resist oxidation and reduction. If the product is wet by water, steam or oil, its physical and thermal insulation properties can be restored after drying. Ceramic fiber board features excellent high temperature insulation property, low thermal conductivity, high strength and long service life, good flexibility, surface flatness, uniform structure and good chemical stability.
 
Its typical applications include industrial furnace, burner and kiln linings, refractory back up insulation, repair materials for high temperature insulation equipments, heat shields, combustion chambers, insulation materials for high temperature chemical reactors, sound absorption and sealing materials, etc.
