Talc is well known Oleophilic compound with hydrophobicity as its
key feature. This helps in helping the detergent for proper
penetration of Oil/Stains and improving detergency. There is
significant benefit of using Talc in detergent/Soap over Dolomite
as the pH of Talc is almost neutral and it also helps in giving a
soft feel/prevents the detergent from cracking. It binds very well
in the detergent/Soap.
