(HP), Super High Power, and Ultra High Power (UHP) are widely used
in electric furnaces for smelting of steel, alloy steel, various
alloys and non-metals. Kimwan Graphite Electrodes have high thermal
conductivity and are very resistant to heat and impact with low
electrical resistance, which means they can conduct the large
electrical currents needed to melt iron.
