Piston pressure gauge is a basic pressure gauge.It is mainly
composed of hand-operated pressure generator, standard piston
measuring head, standard weight set, hydraulic system and various
control valves.When the oil cup valve is in the open state, the
system can be filled with media through the hand pressure generator
(or pressure checker).When the oil cup valve is closed, the
deadweight tester becomes a closed pressure system.The closed
system is then controlled by a hand - operated pressure
generator.
During the whole working process, the piston type deadweight tester
will work stably according to the hydrostatic equilibrium
principle.The pressure of the system changes as weights are added
or reduced on the piston chassis.To balance the pressure of the
system against the force of the piston chassis and its connecting
parts and the total mass of the standard weight carried at the
time, the piston chassis shall be lifted (lowered) to the specified
position by the manual pressure generator.The system pressure in
this state is a standard pressure value.
Obviously, this is the practice of pressure concept definition, and

effective area of the piston system and the quality precision of
