Selection of sizes:
The normal diameter of stainless steel fiber is 0.**0.7mm with a length of ****0mm.to avoid agglomeration during storing, the ratio of the length to the diameter should be controlled in the range of ****0.it should be noted that if a process of jet spray is applied, stainless steel fiber of a shorter length (<*5mm) should be selected, otherwise the spray jet shall be blocked.
Selection of grade: the grades of steel fiber should be suitably selected based on the temperature and atmosphere. See table;
Selection of the ratio: the ratio of the weight of steel fiber in refractory materials is **4%.the heavier the steel fiber is, the more strengthening effect it will have. If it is too high, then the more difficult installation will be and the cost will be higher. the content of steel fiber is to be determined by the places of installation.
Selection of package: steel fiber should be first spread evenly into the refractory materials, and mixed in a dry state and then in a wet state. to avoid the difficulty of installation due to agglomeration, a packing of an orderly array in paper boxes should be first considered.
