Description

This Limestone quarry belonging to a series of higly deformed rocks which belong from a cretaceous period. The rocks in quarry area are belonging to the Thaqab formation which is formed in Masstrichtian time. The percentage of calcium carbonate CaCo3 rranges from *6.5 to *9.2 percent. Calcium oxide (Cao) is *5.6 percent.
