Process of Propolis Extract
1. Pre select and grade raw materials to remove impurities.
2. Put the pre selected raw materials into the refrigerator at - *8
℃for *8h.
3. Raw materials shall be crushed in crusher after freezing. It's
easy to break under - 5 ℃.
4. The crushed raw materials are put into the vibrating screen (*4
mesh), and the particles larger than *4 mesh are returned to the
refrigerator.
5.Put the crushed and screened raw materials into the immersion
kettle with reflux condenser. Add *0% ethanol [propolis
(weight):ethanol (volume = 1:4)], stir for 6h at room temperature,
stand for 2h, discharge the supernatant, add *0% ethanol, repeat
the
above process for 3 times, and combine the solution. During the
impregnation, the temperature is about *5 ℃.
6. After immersion,the solution enters the cooling reaction kettle,
circulates in the adding sleeve for cooling, mechanically stirs and
cools to
below 5 ℃.
7. Filter the cooled solution with a filter. When the solution
temperature is less than 5 ℃, the beeswax can be separated out
and filtered out with the filter residue.
8. The filtrate enters the decompression evaporator and the water
bath is
heated. When the temperature is less than *0 ℃, the evaporation
of volatile oil and the thermal denaturation of effective
components can be reduced.
9. The evaporated ethanol vapor is recycled by the condenser and
injected into the solvent storage tank for recycling.
*0. After the evaporated propolis is injected into the mold, it
becomes (pure propolis) commodity.
