Ethyl cellulose is widely used in coatings. It can also be used as the basic material for solid lubricants stamped by metal workpieces. In microcircuit printing, ethyl cellulose is used as a color carrier. In the radio industry, it is used as an advanced insulating material and as a special film in the protective coating, such as the cladding layer of rocket propellant. It can be used as hot melt adhesives and coatings for cables, paper, textiles, etc. It can also be used as insulation for extrusion wires and toughness enhancers for plastics.
