Description

Titanium powder is a new material stipulated by the state and a sensitive material stipulated by the United Nations.
Usage: metal additive, surface coating, porous material made by cold press molding, Dense materials made by hot press molding, billets made by injection molding, surgical implants, aerospace industry, military flash materials and blasting agent. 
Physical property: Titanium powder is dark gray amorphous powder, boiling point ≤***0°C, melting point ***8°C±2°C, it is insoluble in water and organic solvent in normal temperature. Also known as nonmagnetic metal, which means it cant be magnetized in intense magnetic field. it is non-poisonous and tasteless, and also gets good compatibility with human tissues and blood.
Chemical property: It is not reaction with water, nitric acid, dilutes sulphuric acid and diluted hydrochloric acid at common temperature and pressure. (does not react with general acid and alkali at common temperature, and is flammable at high temperatures).However, it could be corroded by hydrofluoric acid and fused alkali. It  dissolves in hot hydrochloric  and vitriol as well as mixed solution of hydrofluoric acid and hydrofluoric acid (sulphuric acid) or hydrofluoric acid. The physical form of N,H,O, and C could be increased when exposed in air. It will cause blast when mixed with strong oxidant. 
Fire extinguishing method: high-purity ultra-fine titanium powder is flammable at high temperatures. Diatomaceous earth and fine sand should be prepared for fire extinguishing. In case of fire, inert materials (such as diatomaceous earth, fine sand) should be used to suffocate and extinguish the fire.
Packaging: Packed in steel drum which has inside plastic bag filled with argon and weighted *0kgs,or packed in vacuum plastic bag weighted **2.5kgs.The packages we used had been approved by import and export inspection and quarantine bureau.
Transportation and storage: It should be transported and stored in cool and dry place. Fire and demaged packing should be avoided.
