REBCO (Russian Export Blend Crude Oil) is a type of Russian Export Crude Oil formed in the Transneft pipeline system by combining heavy sour crude Ural from the Volga region and low-sulfur oil from Western Siberia, the relevant characteristics to the brand Urals. The Urals brand of oil is delivered via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline system and the Druzhba pipeline. Petroleum components are separated using a technique known as fractional distillation, which involves distilling a liquid mixture into fractions with differing boiling points, typically using a fractionating column. Petroleum encompasses all liquid, gaseous, and solid hydrocarbons, in addition to crude oil.
