Description
We have recently developed ceramic diaphragms for pressure sensors,
the material used is aluminum *5% min, the shape and size of the
ceramic ring, and the thickness of the ceramic diaphragm can be
produced according to the customers design.
Physical properties of ceramic rings and ceramic diaphragms:
Insulation, resistance to electrical breakdown, high temperature
resistance, wear resistance, and high strength.
The ceramic pressure sensor uses a creep-free, rigid *5% AL2O3
ceramic diaphragm as the force-sensitive elastomer, and a
thick-film resistor is printed on the back of the ceramic diaphragm
to form a Wheatstone bridge (closed bridge).
When the pressure is zero, the bridge is in a balanced state, and
the output voltage is zero;
When pressure is applied to the bridge, the deformation of the
diaphragm causes the resistance of the four resistances of the
bridge to change, and the bridge is in an unbalanced state,
generating a highly linear voltage signal proportional to the
pressure and proportional to the excitation voltage.
Whether in medical equipment, air conditioning, food & beverage
or chemical industry consistent and reliable pressure measurement
utilizing state-of-the-art pressure sensor technology is crucial
for a wide range of industrial application.
Ceramic thick film pressure sensor is another major technological
innovation of pressure sensor after diffused silicon pressure
sensor. The ingenious combination of ceramic thick film technology
and simple circuit can produce a new type of sensor with excellent
performance and low cost.
Thick-film resistors (including high-temperature wires) can be
sintered firmly with ceramic elastic diaphragms without glue. This
rigid structure has small creep, small drift, stable static
performance and good dynamic performance.
Ceramic elastomers (ceramic diaphragms) have excellent performance,
and the flat, uniform, and dense materials strictly follow Hookes
law within a certain range, without plastic deformation. Thick film
elastomers are simple in structure and easy to produce.
The structure of the ceramic thick film pressure sensor is
resistant to the corrosion of liquid or gaseous medium. It does not
need the conversion and isolation of stainless steel diaphragm and
silicone oil, and the packaging structure is simplified to further
reduce the cost. The working temperature range is wide, up to
**0℃~**0℃.The working range is also wide. The measuring range
is determined by the ratio of the effective radius to the thickness
of the ceramic diaphragm. As long as the micro pressure is not less
than 1Kpa, a higher measuring range is also available in principle.
