COASTAL CLONES

We are the one of the largest producers of Eucalyptus Clonal plants (Neelagiri) in the Andhrapradesh state and supplying it to the farmers of Coastal districts (East& West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore). This is basically rain fed crop; irrigation is not necessary (Yields will increase *0 €“ *5 percent if irrigation is provided). These Eucalyptus clones perform very well in red sandy, black cotton and other light soils. We are also multiplying site-specific clones, which are suitable for High PH (PH Range up to 8.5) and other alkaline soils. The productivity is around *0 €“ *5 MT per acre per year in rain fed conditions. The first harvest will come after 4 years. Again the farmer can harvest the crop for every 3 years from the coppiced crop like sugar cane for 3 rotations. (***** in *0 years we can take 3 harvests. 1 Harvest €“ 4th year, 2 Harvest €“ 7th year, and 3 Harvest €“ *0th year) On an average farmer will get Rs.****0/- to Rs.****0/- net income per year. The wood used as pulpwood in the paper industries, poles as props in scaffolding in building construction, for making flush boards and for making ply wood.
