Borosil is one of the renowned glass and glass ware manufacturing company in India producing high quality low expansion borosilicate glass for specialized applications for over *2 years since ***2. In the year ***0, Gujarat Borosil Limited ( GBL ) of the renowned Borosil group has diversified   into the manufacturing of state-of-the-art low iron, high transmission solar glass. The end to end manufacturing facility is set up in the state of Gujarat in the Western state of India with technology imported from West Europe from world leaders of glass equipment. GBL€™s per day production capacity is **0 MT . This is the FIRST and the ONLY plant in India producing ANTIMONY FREE, low iron, high transmission solar textured glass with *1.5% light transmission performance. GBL also manufactures Extra clear patterned glass .GBL€™s Anti- Reflective Coated textured solar glass is available in 3.2 mm to 6 mm thickness for Solar PV, Solar Thermal and Greenhouse applications with the coating liquid sourced from one of the world€™s renowned supplier. The coating on the top surface of the glass improves light transmission by 2 to 2.5%. GBL€™s Extra clear patterned glass Is available in 2 mm to *0 mm thickness for Architectural applications.

Glass panes are routed through a high quality automatic line for pencil edging and washing before tempering to a very high degree of flatness, designed to keep within tolerances of flatness required by the International solar PV Panel, Solar Thermal and Greenhouse segments in a high speed automatic glass tempering line. 

The manufacturing facility is ISO ***1:***8 accredited from TUV Rheinland and the product conforms and adheres to various International standards viz.

GBL€™s in-house laboratory is fully equipped with the latest and most advanced testing equipment to ensure top quality end product to the customer. This includes a transmittivity measuring spectrophotometer from Perkin Elmer to test Energy & Light Transmission as well as the Haze factor of textured glass for PV, Thermal and Greenhouse applications and online Transmittivity measuring equipment from Aoptek.

The packing standards are widely acclaimed and as per customer€™s requirements.
