Isea - Icelandic Seaweed was
founded at the beginning of ***6 with the aim of designing and
building a seaweed harvester boat that met all the requirements for
safety and sustainability in the collection of algae under the
conditions in Brei°afjr°ur.
At the beginning of ***2 the production of Isea started on
sustainable harvest and the production of quality materials from
algae. The production line is specialized to maintain
nutritional values in a unique closed system that dries and mills
at low temperatures.
Our vision is to be the leading
company in Iceland in sustainable harvested seaweed processed using
geothermal heat and green energy into value-added environmental
certified products.
