MICTAL SLATE

Our company produces a variety of slate products, including; slabs, floor tiles, roofing slates as well as quartzite tiles for interior or exterior use. We are in business as an experienced company and have been working hard for the past fifteen years to assist both the domestic and the export markets. Besides our slate quarry, as a source of natural stone for its production, Mictal Slate also has a quartzite quarry for the extraction of blocks of quartzite for the manufacture of a selection of tiles for interior and exterior use. The quartzite quarry is situated in Juazeiro, in the state of Piaui, in the northeast of Brazil. The product made from this quartzite is known as €Juazeiro€. The production of slate at Martinho Campos and quartzite at Juazeiro, allows Mictal Slate to make available a large selection of products in many sizes and colors, to satisfy the needs and interests of its customers. Slate tile is presented with a natural face or natural calibrated finish. We carry black and gray roofing tiles. The level of quality of our stone enhances its beauty. Our head office and the production of slate tiles is located in Papagaio which is situated **0 kilometers from the city of Belo Horizonte, the state capital of Minas Gerais. The largest deposit of slate is concentrated in the region of Papagaios. Exploration of quarries in both the northeast and southeast of Brazil, observes a principal of preservation of the environment and a respect for the quality of life. This principal is observed from the time of extraction of the stone from the quarries until it reaches the consumer market.
