RMC SILICA SAND IS FREE OF IMPURITIES (>*9.7% SiO2) RMC Silica holds *5 million tons of recoverable high-quality silica sand with an additional *5 million tons of reserves of similar quality sand. RMC Silica holds a chemically homogeneous deposit of fine and coarse to medium grained unconsolidated sands. RMC Silica's sand, in its raw form, requires NO prior washing or ANY form of beneficiation for civil construction applications. The glass sand meets consistently all the chemical and physical specifications for flat, container and other high-valued glass products. The coarse to medium construction grade sand is used as fine-grained aggregate for concrete mix, as a plastering aide, and as an abrasive. Mixtures of varying proportions of the glass-grade and the construction grade sands are used for recreational purposes (golf course, under cover, beach rehabilitation etc). The Guyana Geology and Mines Commission has provided a full range of particle size distribution which has confirmed the characterization of the silica sands as meeting Frac sand requirements. We will be producing a screened product which meets the specifications of the *0/*0 Frac Sand.
