My consultancy company has helped rural farmers to establish a producers cooperative. It has already started buying green kava from farmers to produce kava juice sold for local consumption. Our plan is to assist the cooperative to help identify potential niche markets and to go into kava kava export. We would like to get into kava export to meet some of the market demand and would like to promote a few of Vanuatu's unique kava organic varieties. We have carried out a survey in one of the island called Ambrym and have found out that there is sufficient supply to meet buyers' demand. We would help to process it (harvest, clean, dry, package and store the product ready for shipment). In the pipeline, we would also like to produce kava powder and fresh kava juice for export as well.
