adopts switching technology to fulfill media conversion. It
complies with IEEE**2.3, IEEE**2.3u, IEEE**2.3z and IEEE**2.3ab
standards. Presently it supports two types of media network
connections: *0Base-T/**0Base-TX/***0Base-T, and ***0Base-SX/LX,
inter-converting electrical signals of
*0Base-T/**0Base-TX/***0Base-T twisted pairs with optical signals
of ***0Base-SX/LX. It extends the transmission distance of network
from **0m via copper cable to *0 km via fiber optical cable. It
supports transmission in multi-mode dual fiber, single mode dual
fiber and single mode single fiber.
