Trinity Ventures was conceived in ***3, after the dreaded Super Typhoon Yolanda (International name: Haiyan) hit the Philippines, Visayas Region, almost paralyzing the whole province. There was no electricity and water distribution was disrupted. People had to rely on unsafe deep well sources. Problems aroused with the outbreak of hepatitis A, cholera, and other waterborne diseases. There were brands providing safe bottled drinking water and foreign brands were very expensive. The supply was not enough to counter the magnitude of the disaster, Trinity Ventures was concieved to provide more supplies and faster dissemination of water to not just the Philippines but also Internationally.

The founder of the company felt that Cebu and the whole country needed to have a stable source of safe drinking water. Plus, the local water sources high mineral content, particularly lime, has caused some residents to have kidney stones.
