Our ATBS monomer AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule enable polymer producers to manufacture superior and high quality polymers for use in a wide range of consumer and industrial products. We supply monomers in both granule and liquid forms with exceptionally high levels of product purity for optimum performance.

We produce ATBS monomers for polymers of different molecular weight. Our product series AP***1G granule are designed specifically for low molecular weight polymer. Product series AP***1G granule are designed specifically for medium molecular weight polymer. Product series AP***1G granule are designed specifically for high molecular weight polymer.

ATBS Monomer AP***1G/AP***1G/AP***1G Granule

AP***1G/AP***1G/AP***1G are sulfonic acid acrylic monomer in granular form. The granular products reduce dust emissions resulting in a cleaner working environment, better worker safety and reduced plant maintenance. AP***1G/AP***1G/AP***1G do not agglomerate and are easy to transport. As AP***1G/AP***1G/AP***1G granulation is a post-reaction step, the ATBS monomer chemistry remains unchanged.

Applications

ATBS Monomer AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule are widely used in water treatment, acrylic fiber, oilfield, latex and adhesive, emulsion coatings, personal care and medical and construction applications.

ATBS Monomer AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule are especially effective in the following applications:

- Water Treatment Applications: Polymers made of AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule are used to inhibit calcium, magnesium and silica scale in cooling towers, boiler, air washers and gas scrubbers. They are also widely used for corrosion control, as dispersants for silt and iron oxides.

- Acrylic Fiber Applications: AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule are able to generate or enhance the hydrolytic stability of polymers, imparting a number of enhanced performance capabilities of textile and acrylic fiber. This includes: Improved dye receptivity, richer color, enhanced moisture absorbency, improved tensile strength and static resistance. They are padded onto cotton or starch to increase water absorbency

- Latex and Adhesive Applications: AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule are field-proven to achieve exceptional latex stability in high-performance latex coatings. The dispersion of solids in aqueous media is colloidally stable, improving the preparation of high solids emulsions. It improves the thermal and mechanical properties of adhesives, and increases the adhesive strength of pressure-sensitive adhesive formulations. Polymers containing ATBS Monomer AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule/AP***1G granule are especially effective dispersants for highly polar materials.
