Catalase is an enzyme preparation produced by submerged fermentation. It can efficiently catalyze the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide to water and oxygen. Catalase is widely used in textile, paper making, electronics, food and other industries to remove hydrogen peroxide to reduce water and energy consumption.

Application

Food grade catalase is mainly usedto remove residual hydrogen peroxide after using it as bleacher, oxidation, starch denaturant and preservative in food processing.It can eliminate the special odor of hydrogen peroxide caused by ultraviolet irradiation in the production of milk, egg products, cheese and other products.Catalase is also used as a leavening agent of baking food.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store this product in a cool and dry place. Avoid humidity and exposure to the sun. The effective period is 6 months if stored properly.
