The development of Corrugated Tubes is perhaps the most exciting advancement in heat transfer technology. HRS has developed a new style of corrugated tube boosting heat transfer multifold at low Reynolds number with minimum increase in pressure loss. Corrugations impart different flow regimes, spiral in the core and eddies at the periphery. This avoids the formation of boundary layer and thorough mixing of product which ultimately results in increased heat transfer coefficient and reduction in area of the HE. Modles:- 1. K Series is a fixed tube sheet, shell and tube HE specially designed for various industrial applications. 2. DT Series is tube-in-tube HE. While the inner tube carries the process media, the outer tube carries the service media. 3. AS Series is a tube-in-tube-in-tube HE. The innermost tube and outer tube carries the service media while the process media passes through the annulus between these two tubes. 4. MI Series HE is conventional straight tube, shell and tube unit using corrugated tubes especially designed for food industry. Advantages:- 1. High Heat Transfer coefficient 2.
